Welcome to the WorkSmart Scale Plan. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of plan.worksmartadvisor.com and the WorkSmart planning tool (the "Service"), operated by WorkSmart, a Morgan DeBaun company. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use the Service. When you create an account, you agree to give accurate information and to keep your login details secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Membership and payments
- The planning tool is included with an active WorkSmart membership. Some features may require a paid plan.
- Payments are handled by our payment partners, including Stripe and Patreon. By subscribing, you also agree to their terms.
- Unless stated otherwise, memberships renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, and your access continues through the end of the current billing period.
- Prices may change. If they do, we will give you notice before the change applies to your renewal.
Refunds
If you are not happy with your membership, contact us at the email below and we will work with you in good faith. Specific refund terms for any product or promotion will be shown at the time of purchase.
Not financial advice
Your content
The numbers, notes, and plans you create in the Service belong to you. By using the Service, you give us permission to store and process that content so we can run the Service and deliver your results. We will not sell your individual plan data.
Our content
The Service, including its design, text, frameworks, and software, belongs to WorkSmart and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use it for your own business. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its materials without our written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. That includes not attempting to break, overload, or reverse engineer it, not using it for anything illegal, and not sharing your account access in a way that violates these Terms.
Third-party links
The Service may link to other sites and tools we do not control, such as Patreon and other WorkSmart and Morgan DeBaun properties. We are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms.
Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may update, pause, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, WorkSmart and Morgan DeBaun are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
